Job Title and Vacancy:Contract English Lecturer (or above). Vacancy: 3

Employment Start Date:Feb. 1^st, 2027 (or after the whole hiring process)

Qualifications

1. Master’s degree or higher
2. Among the three vacancies:

1. One position for a native English-speaking lecturer with excellent English writing skills.
2. Two positions open to all qualified applicants.

3. Applicants should possess practical teaching experience in the fields of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) or English as a Second Language (ESL), and be able to demonstrate innovative teaching practices.
4. Applicants with teaching experience in professional English communication courses, such as English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) are preferred.

Job Description

1. Yearly contract for a 3-year period

2. Basic teaching hours per week: 12 hours for an assistant professor; 13 hours for a lecturer

3. Assisting in curriculum design and related administrative work

Specialization

The candidate should have at least one thesis/dissertation/publication (journal article, book, or book chapter) within the past 5 years.

Notes：For publications with multiple authors, the applicant's contribution should be clearly specified.

Diploma and transcript at the master’s level or higher (Applicants with a foreign master’s degree or PhD must have their diplomas, transcripts and other documents authenticated by an overseas ROC embassy, representative office, economic and cultural office or any institution authorized by MOFA. In addition to the documents stated above, they should also provide personal immigration entry/exit record.)

5. Hard copies of the items on the publication list
6. Forms should be included: “擬任（現職）人員在中國大陸設有戶籍、領用中國大陸護照、身分證、定居證或居住證情形具結書” (please use the official form: https://reurl.cc/VmzeNA ). (Applicants without household registration in Taiwan are exempt from this requirement.)
7. Any certificates or documents in favor of employment are welcomed
