Position Title: Full-Time Faculty (Assistant Professor or above)
· Number of Positions: Two
- Priority consideration will be given to candidates specializing in Obstetrics, Psychiatric Nursing, and international applicants.
· Appointment Start Date: August 1, 2025
· Qualifications and Areas of Expertise:
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Nursing or a closely related field such as Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, or Smart Healthcare from an accredited domestic or international institution.
- Applicants should demonstrate academic expertise in Fundamental Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing Administration, and Nursing Research. The ability to teach courses in Long-term Care, Smart Nursing, and Clinical Practicum is also required.
- Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to teaching and service, possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, and be willing to assume departmental administrative responsibilities and contribute to academic service.
- Preference will be given to applicants with:
- Documented teaching experience
- A valid teaching certificate issued by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education
- Proficiency in English for academic instruction
- Potential for interdisciplinary research collaboration

- A copy of the highest academic degree diploma
- For foreign degrees, the diploma must be verified by a Taiwan overseas representative office or an accredited credential verification service
- A copy of the official academic transcript of the highest degree
- Verification is required for foreign transcripts as well
- A copy of the valid Teaching Qualification Certificate issued by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (if available)
- A Registered Nurse License issued by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW), Taiwan
- A list of academic publications from the past seven years, including 2 to 3 full-text copies of representative works
- Two letters of recommendation
- Course syllabi for courses the applicant is prepared to offer
- Candidates selected for the preliminary review will be notified separately to submit a video of an English teaching demonstration and will be invited to an on-site interview for the final selection process.
