外文中心徵聘英文專任約聘教師

本中心擬徵聘英文專任約聘教師1名；主要教授本校大學英文及選修英文課程，平均每週授課15小時。

• 職等：專任講師級約聘教學人員（含）以上。
• 名額：1名。
• 資格：
  • • 1. 具教育部認可之國內外碩士學位（含）以上。
      2. 具英語教學相關領域專長。
      3. 母語人士或相當於母語人士程度者且能全英語授課。
      4. 具教育部核准之專科以上教師證書者。
      5. 具大專院校相關教學經驗者優先考量。
• 聘期：自112年8月1日起聘，一年一聘。
• 薪資：比照公立大專教師薪資支給標準。
• 應徵文件：

1. 申請函（cover letter，請以中文或英文撰寫）。
2. 個人履歷表（請一律下載及使用本中心中文版履歷表）。
3. 學位畢業證書影本，如為境外學歷，須於起聘前完成我國駐外館處驗證。
4. 教育部核准之專科以上教師證書。
5. 教學意見調查表，有教學經驗者請務必完整檢附。
6. 其他相關資歷證明文件，外籍人士若能檢附基本中文能力證明者為佳。

Faculty Position Opening for Contract-based English Instructor

Foreign Language Center, National Chengchi University

The Foreign Language Center at National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.) invites applications for a full-time English teaching position by contract, teaching required and elective College English courses for an average of 15 hours per week.

■ Position: Full-time contract-based Instructor (or above)

■ Number of positions: 1

■ Qualifications:

1. M.A. degree or higher (institutions acknowledged by Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan
2. Specialty in TESOL-related fields
3. Native-level English proficiency
4. College-level Instructor Certificate issued by MOE, Taiwan.
5. Relevant college teaching experiences preferred

■ Appointment Period: The appointment will be made on a yearly basis and is expected to begin on August 1, 2023.

■ Salary: in accordance with standards stipulated by MOE, Taiwan

■ Required Application Documents:

1. Cover letter (in English or Chinese)

3. Copy of diploma(s), those acquired overseas will have to be verified by a relevant foreign consulate of Taiwan
4. Copy of College Instructor’s Certificate (or above) issued by MOE, Taiwan

6. Additional relevant documents; proof of basic Chinese ability preferred for non-Chinese speakers

Phase 2: Teaching Demonstration Video (deadline—January 31, 2023)

1. Shortlisted candidates can expect to be informed via email by January 10, 2023 to submit a teaching demonstration video.
2. The topic and format will be announced in the email message. The candidates are to prepare and submit the video by uploading it to a designated cloud space before the deadline.

Phase 3: In-person/Online Interview (tentative date—Saturday, February 18, 2023)

Candidates who pass Phase 2 will be individually informed of the interview with the finalized date and format.
